Casamigas Spicy Basil Paloma

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. Casamigas Jalapeño Tequila
  • 1 oz. Fresh Grapefruit Juice
  • .5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • .5 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 4 Basil Leaves
  • 1 Dash Firewater Bitters or 1 Jalapeño Slice
  • Top off Club Soda (Suggest Fever Tree)
  • Optional: 2 Dashes Peychaud's Bitters (To enhance color)
  • Garnish Upside Down Grapefruit Wedge Dusted in Salt/Sugar/Tajin and Basil Leaf

Instructions

Combine all ingredients into a tin shaker. Muddle basil (and jalapeño if using). Add ice, shake vigorously and fine strain into Collins glass. Add fresh ice, top off with club soda and garnish.
