Carissa Stanton’s Casamigos-Spiked Gravy Hero
Gravy, meet Casamigos. This classic holiday recipe gets a twist with a splash of Casamigos Añejo, all thanks to our favorite foodie, Carissa Stanton.

Ingredients
1.5 oz Casamigos Añejo Tequila
5 tbsp butter
1 tsp chopped fresh sage
2 tbsp + 1 tsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp chili powder
Dash of cayenne
1 tbsp lime juice
2 cups turkey drippings
Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
  1. Add butter to a skillet and turn the heat to medium.
  2. Once the butter melts, add the sage and let it simmer for about 30 seconds. Whisk in flour, chili powder, and cayenne.
  3. Once combined, add in the tequila and lime juice. Continue whisking for about 2 minutes. Make sure the alcohol has burned off completely before adding the turkey drippings.
  4. Pour in your turkey drippings while continuing to whisk. Bring to a simmer to thicken for 3-4 minutes. Add salt & pepper to taste.
  5. Serve generously on top of your Thanksgiving feast!
*Depending on how thick you like your gravy, you can add more flour to thicken or more broth to thin it out. Keep in mind it will become thicker as it cools down.
