BLACKBERRY SPRITZER
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz. Casamigos Blanco
- .5 oz. Crème de Mure
- .5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- .25 oz. Thyme Syrup*
- 2 Fresh Blackberries
- Top off with Soda Water
- Garnish with fresh blackberry and thyme sprig
Instructions
Combine all ingredients into tin shaker. Muddle blackberries. Add ice, shake vigorously and fine strain into collins glass. Add crushed ice, top off with soda water and add more crushed ice to create a dome like top. Garnish.
*To Create Thyme Syrup / Makes 1L – Add 20 oz. water to medium pot and bring to a boil, then turn down to medium heat and add 1 cup fresh thyme. Let simmer for 15-20 min, then strain into another medium pot and bring to boil. Once at boil, add 20 oz. white granulated sugar and stir occasionally until fully dissolved. Let cool, and once at room temperature, pour syrup into a glass bottle with lid. Store in refrigerator. Good for 2 weeks.
